Dog Walking
Dogs that are walked regularly and socialised develop a sound temperament and are less likely to indulge in destructive and/or annoying behavioural problems, such as constant barking or digging up your favourite garden patch! However with our busy lifestyle we cannot always provide our friends with the companionship, exercise and stimulation that they deserve. Pet Pursuits aims to do just that.
We understand that your furry friends enjoy different pursuits, from walking, socialising, and exploring to chasing balls or swimming. Whatever your dog enjoys most, Pet Pursuits can provide. Our service caters for on or off lead walking, individual or small group (maximum of four), depending on your preferences and your pet's temperament. Basic training using positive reinforcement is also incorporated. For regular bookings the first visit to meet your furry friends is free!
Holiday Pet Care Service
Going on holiday? Want to avoid the stress of sending your furry friends to a kennel or cattery? Pet Pursuits will walk, play, feed, water, change kitty litter or anything else your pets may require in the comfort of their own home. This provides your furry friends with a continuation of their normal routine and thus helps reduce the stress of your absence.
As dogs are more socially dependent on people, Pet Pursuits recommends at least 2 visits per day, one visit to walk or play for 45 minutes, and the other to feed their furry bellies!
While cats are generally considered to be more independent than dogs, they are also very attached to their home environment. At least one visit per day of thirty minutes for your furry felines is recommended.
Of course if you desire extra time to be spent with your pets you only have to ask. Pet Pursuits wants you to feel that your furry friends are as comfortable and secure as they can possibly be.
Pet Pursuits will also feed and care for other loved ones including rabbits, guinea pigs, fish and birds.
